l’air Part Two

In the previous post, I was whining about all the smoke from the wildfire we’re stuck under; now, here’s photographic proof.

About mrpeenee

A former bon vivant and terror of a number of New Orleans bars in the mad, gay 1980s, I'm now quietly retired and widowed in San Francisco. I have a crooked nose due to an unfortunate Frisbee accident.

    • I actually support the idea of allowing fires to burn. It’s the management of the fires over the last century and the determination to put them out as soon as possible that has built up so much dead wood in the forests that would have been burnt off otherwise that now make the fires so much worse. So I support the *theory* but in practice you get this. Eeeeeks.

  1. Unfortunately fires do recycle all that debris on the ground quickly. Next up mudslides. Possibly an earthquake. Other than that life in California is great. So I’m told.
